Do you need to know whether your client is lying and spot their lie ?
It is so unfortunate when a therapist, coach, or hypnotist is using a modality with the presumption that a Human is not broken but what they think of is whether the client is lying, doing any deceptions, etc.
Why do I start from this statement you might ask?
I notice when friends both personal and practitioners notice that I learn and practice certain areas of body language, deception, and other skill sets. They will ask the following.
It’s a good move, you can notice whenever your client is trying to lie or do deception. This way you will be able to help them better
I normally said, No and Yes. I am learning what I learn to help myself and my client but NOT to know whether they are doing any deceptions or lying to me, but there is a way out of that to help my clients in ways that I won’t be able to without learning that area.
I understand that there are some Hypnotists, Therapists, etc that want to give an air of “ Lie to me if you can because I can read you just like a book”. my question is just one, if you feel that you need to worry that your client is lying to you can you see them the same that you are looking at them as not broken?
In my learning and development procedure, I come to the point of not asking much about my client’s story because I know the subconscious mind know what they need.
If we know that more than 90% of what the client feels or thinks it’s the root issue of their issue is not the real root cause, why do we deem them as lying when they can’t be sure what actually happen?
Despite all of that I do believe that different clients suit different therapists or hypnotists. Some clients would be impressed by someone that can amaze them by spotting their lies, but here in MiracleofMinds, we open a safe space without judging you on your religion, belief, or feeling. Our main goal is to guide and help you to break free from whatever holds you back.
