are you setting a right goal?

Once upon a time, in a small village, there are 2 kids called fluff and burg, they are best friends, and they like to hop around the village. They like to encourage each other to achieve a breakthrough, one day they decided to train and be able to jump and reach the top of the pine tree. The leader of the village overheard the conversation and said,“ why don’t you set 2 goals? One is to jump and reach that pine tree and another one is to swim across the river to help the village collect some food from the other side. It will be very helpful for us”

Fluff and burg are so excited, both of them train to jump every single day, and they manage to reach the top of the small pine tree. But every time they start to swim, fluff will be panicking and always back out from the practice. Burg keep giving advice and encouraging fluff over and over again until one-day fluff fall into despair and said “maybe I am useless and I didn’t work hard enough”.

A wise man walk by and see fluff in despair and said “do you know that both of you have different capabilities? Fluff you are a rabbit and Burg you are a frog. It’s not that the goal to swim across the river is not achievable or fluff is not putting any effort. It is just because fluff doesn’t swim.”

How many times that we experience this when we are setting up our goal and end up beating ourselves by not achieving the goal? We will teach you how set goals that resonates with who we are, not what others want us to be.
